Microsoft AdCenter Launch Day 1 — Needing a Bit More in the QA Department
So I heard on the grapevine that the much vaulted MSN AdCenter was finally open to public consumption by the advertising wizards out there. Having long used their traffic through way of Overture/Yahoo Search Marketing at work (Platinum Level Overture Account), decided to give it a whirl and attempt to sign up. Only one problem — the signup process was broken. Maybe someone should have told them not to use ASP…. ???
For some strange reason, it can’t pull up a country menu when entering in basis contact information:

Of course, I could live with the country being wrong. I was even ready to give Microsoft my credit card, despite their first sloppy error. I guess the launch wasn’t really ready to happen….

Oh, and for those that were wondering. This was done on 100 percent genuine Windowd Internet Explorer. I use Firefox on a day to day basis, but figured it was only right to fire up IE to sign up with the big M.
Better luck next launch dear Microsoft
