So this blog has had a few posts over the past month and I just received the first piece of comment spam. The site had technically been live a bit before that but no blog feature or anything detectable, such as the nice “powered by wordpress” that can be used to find blogs in google and other friendly search engines.

I wonder how much faster it happens for those with high profile blog launches. Anyone else out there have any statistics on blogs they launched and the time it takes for the first spam comment to hit them?
